[개역개정] 안식일에 예수께서 한 바리새인 지도자의 집에 떡 잡수시러 들어가시니 그들이 엿보고 있더라 [KJV] And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him.     2. [개역개정] 주의 앞에 수종병 든 한 사람이 있는지라 [KJV] And, behold, there was a certain man before him which had the dropsy.     3. [개역개정] 예수께서 대답하여 율법교사들과 바리새인들에게 이르시되 안식일에 병 고쳐 주는 것이 합당하냐 아니하냐 [KJV] And Jesus answering spake unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath day?     4. [개역개정] 그들이 잠잠하거늘 예수께서 그 사람을 데려다가 고쳐 보내시고 [KJV] And they held their peace. And he took him, and healed him, and let him go;     5. [개역개정] 또 그들에게 이르시되 너희 중에 누가 그 아들이나 소가 우물에 빠졌으면 안식일에라도 곧 끌어내지 않겠느냐 하시니 [KJV] And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen into a pit, and will not straightway pull him out on the sabbath day?    눅13:15  6. [개역개정] 그들이 이에 대하여 대답하지 못하니라 [KJV] And they could not answer him again to these things.    ○ 자기를 낮추고 불쌍한 자를 대접할 것  7. [개역개정] 청함을 받은 사람들이 높은 자리 택함을 보시고 그들에게 비유로 말씀하여 이르시되 [KJV] And he put forth a parable to those which were bidden, when he marked how they chose out the chief rooms; saying unto them.    마23:6  8. [개역개정] 네가 누구에게나 혼인 잔치에 청함을 받았을 때에 높은 자리에 앉지 말라 그렇지 않으면 너보다 더 높은 사람이 청함을 받은 경우에 [KJV] When thou art bidden of any man to a wedding, sit not down in the highest room; lest a more honourable man than thou be bidden of him;     9. [개역개정] 너와 그를 청한 자가 와서 너더러 이 사람에게 자리를 내주라 하리니 그 때에 네가 부끄러워 끝자리로 가게 되리라 [KJV] And he that bade thee and him come and say to thee, Give this man place; and thou begin with shame to take the lowest room.     10. [개역개정] 청함을 받았을 때에 차라리 가서 끝자리에 앉으라 그러면 너를 청한 자가 와서 너더러 벗이여 올라 앉으라 하리니 그 때에야 함께 앉은 모든 사람 앞에서 영광이 있으리라 [KJV] But when thou art bidden, go and sit down in the lowest room; that when he that bade thee cometh, he may say unto thee, Friend, go up higher: then shalt thou have worship in the presence of them that sit at meat with thee.    잠15:33, 잠25:6, 잠25:7  11. [개역개정] 무릇 자기를 높이는 자는 낮아지고 자기를 낮추는 자는 높아지리라 [KJV] For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.     12. [개역개정] 또 자기를 청한 자에게 이르시되 네가 점심이나 저녁이나 베풀거든 벗이나 형제나 친척이나 부한 이웃을 청하지 말라 두렵건대 그 사람들이 너를 도로 청하여 네게 갚음이 될까 하노라 [KJV] Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee.     13. [개역개정] 잔치를 베풀거든 차라리 가난한 자들과 몸 불편한 자들과 저는 자들과 맹인들을 청하라 [KJV] But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:    느8:10  14. [개역개정] 그리하면 그들이 갚을 것이 없으므로 네게 복이 되리니 이는 의인들의 부활시에 네가 갚음을 받겠음이라 하시더라 [KJV] And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.    ○ 큰 잔치와 청함을 받은 자  15. [개역개정] 함께 먹는 사람 중의 하나가 이 말을 듣고 이르되 무릇 하나님의 나라에서 떡을 먹는 자는 복되도다 하니 [KJV] And when one of them that sat at meat with him heard these things, he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.     16. [개역개정] 이르시되 어떤 사람이 큰 잔치를 베풀고 많은 사람을 청하였더니 [KJV] Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade many:     17. [개역개정] 잔치할 시각에 그 청하였던 자들에게 종을 보내어 이르되 오소서 모든 것이 준비되었나이다 하매 [KJV] And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.     18. [개역개정] 다 일치하게 사양하여 한 사람은 이르되 나는 밭을 샀으매 아무래도 나가 보아야 하겠으니 청컨대 나를 양해하도록 하라 하고 [KJV] And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must needs go and see it: I pray thee have me excused.     19. [개역개정] 또 한 사람은 이르되 나는 소 다섯 겨리를 샀으매 시험하러 가니 청컨대 나를 양해하도록 하라 하고 [KJV] And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.     20. [개역개정] 또 한 사람은 이르되 나는 장가 들었으니 그러므로 가지 못하겠노라 하는지라 [KJV] And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.    고전7:29  21. [개역개정] 종이 돌아와 주인에게 그대로 고하니 이에 집 주인이 노하여 그 종에게 이르되 빨리 시내의 거리와 골목으로 나가서 가난한 자들과 몸 불편한 자들과 맹인들과 저는 자들을 데려오라 하니라 [KJV] So that servant came, and shewed his lord these things. Then the master of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets and lanes of the city, and bring in hither the poor, and the maimed, and the halt, and the blind.     22. [개역개정] 종이 이르되 주인이여 명하신 대로 하였으되 아직도 자리가 있나이다 [KJV] And the servant said, Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room.     23. [개역개정] 주인이 종에게 이르되 길과 산울타리 가로 나가서 사람을 강권하여 데려다가 내 집을 채우라 [KJV] And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.     24. [개역개정] 내가 너희에게 말하노니 전에 청하였던 그 사람들은 하나도 내 잔치를 맛보지 못하리라 하였다 하시니라 [KJV] For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall taste of my supper.    ○ 예수를 따르는 일의 어려움  25. [개역개정] 수많은 무리가 함께 갈새 예수께서 돌이키사 이르시되 [KJV] And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto them,     26. [개역개정] 무릇 내게 오는 자가 자기 부모와 처자와 형제와 자매와 더욱이 자기 목숨까지 미워하지 아니하면 능히 내 제자가 되지 못하고 [KJV] If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own lifa also, he cannot be my disciple.    신13:6, 신13:8  27. [개역개정] 누구든지 자기 십자가를 지고 나를 따르지 않는 자도 능히 내 제자가 되지 못하리라 [KJV] And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple.     28. [개역개정] 너희 중의 누가 망대를 세우고자 할진대 자기의 가진 것이 준공하기까지에 족할는지 먼저 앉아 그 비용을 계산하지 아니하겠느냐 [KJV] For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?     29. [개역개정] 그렇게 아니하여 그 기초만 쌓고 능히 이루지 못하면 보는 자가 다 비웃어 [KJV] Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,     30. [개역개정] 이르되 이 사람이 공사를 시작하고 능히 이루지 못하였다 하리라 [KJV] Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.     31. [개역개정] 또 어떤 임금이 다른 임금과 싸우러 갈 때에 먼저 앉아 일만 명으로써 저 이만 명을 거느리고 오는 자를 대적할 수 있을까 헤아리지 아니하겠느냐 [KJV] Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand?    잠20:18  32. [개역개정] 만일 못할 터이면 그가 아직 멀리 있을 때에 사신을 보내어 화친을 청할지니라 [KJV] Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace.    마5:25  33. [개역개정] 이와 같이 너희 중의 누구든지 자기의 모든 소유를 버리지 아니하면 능히 내 제자가 되지 못하리라 [KJV] So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple.     34. [개역개정] 소금이 좋은 것이나 소금도 만일 그 맛을 잃으면 무엇으로 짜게 하리요 [KJV] Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be seasoned?     35. [개역개정] 땅에도, 거름에도 쓸 데 없어 내버리느니라 들을 귀가 있는 자는 들을지어다 하시니라 [KJV] It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast it out.
