 개역개정 나면서 못 걷게 된 이를 사람들이 메고 오니 이는 성전에 들어가는 사람들에게 구걸하기 위하여 날마다 미문이라는 성전 문에 두는 자라
 KJV And a certain man lame from his mother's womb was carried, whom they laid daily at the gate of the temple which is called Beautiful, to ask alms of them that entered into the temple;
 NIV Now a man crippled from birth was being carried to the temple gate called Beautiful, where he was put every day to beg from those going into the temple courts.
 공동번역 아름다운 문이라는 성전 문 곁에는 태어날 때부터 앉은뱅이가 된 사람 하나가 있었다. 날마다 사람들이 거기에 들어다 놓으면 그는 앉아서 성전으로 들어 가는 사람들에게 구걸을 하는 것이었다.
 북한성경 "아름다운 문"이라는 성전문 곁에 태여날 때부터 앉은뱅이가 된 사람 하나가 있었다. 날마다 사람들이 그를 거기에 들여다 놓으면 그는 앉아서 성전으로 들어가는 사람들에게 구걸을 하는 것이었다.
