 개역개정 그들이 마음을 즐겁게 할 때에 그 성읍의 불량배들이 그 집을 에워싸고 문을 두들기며 집 주인 노인에게 말하여 이르되 네 집에 들어온 사람을 끌어내라 우리가 그와 관계하리라 하니
 KJV Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him.
 NIV While they were enjoying themselves, some of the wicked men of the city surrounded the house. Pounding on the door, they shouted to the old man who owned the house, "Bring out the man who came to your house so we can have sex with him."
 공동번역 그들이 한참 맛있게 먹고 있는데 그 성에 있는 무뢰배들이 몰려 와서 집을 에워 싸고 문을 두드리며 노인에게 요구하였다. "영감집에 든 자를 내보내시오. 좀 따질 일이 있으니까 !"
