 개역개정 그 사람이 첩과 하인과 더불어 일어나 떠나고자 하매 그의 장인 곧 그 여자의 아버지가 그에게 이르되 보라 이제 날이 저물어 가니 청하건대 이 밤도 유숙하라 보라 해가 기울었느니라 그대는 여기서 유숙하여 그대의 마음을 즐겁게 하고 내일 일찍이 그대의 길을 가서 그대의 집으로 돌아가라 하니
 KJV And when the man rose up to depart, he, and his concubine, and his servant, his father in law, the damsel's father, said unto him, Behold, now the day draweth toward evening, I pray you tarry all night: behold, the day groweth to an end, lodge here, that thine heart may be merry; and to morrow get you early on your way, that thou mayest go home.
 NIV Then when the man, with his concubine and his servant, got up to leave, his father-in-law, the girl's father, said, "Now look, it's almost evening. Spend the night here; the day is nearly over. Stay and enjoy yourself. Early tomorrow morning you can get up and be on your way home."
 공동번역 그제야 그 사람이 첩과 종을 데리고 떠나려고 하자 장인이 다시 권하였다. "여보게, 오늘은 이미 날이 저물어 저녁이 되었는데 하룻밤 더 묵어 가게. 이렇게 날이 저물었는데 즐겁게 놀다가 내일 아침 일찌기 일어나 길을 떠나는 게 어떤가 ?"
 북한성경 그제야 그 사람이 첩과 종을 데리고 떠나려고 하자 장인이 다시 권하였다. "여보게. 오늘은 이미 날이 저물었는데 즐겁게 놀다가 래일 아침 일찌기 일어나 길을 떠나는게 어떤가."
 Afr1953 Maar toe die man klaarmaak om weg te gaan, hy en sy byvrou en sy dienaar, s? sy skoonvader, die vader van die jong vrou, vir hom: Kyk, die son sak, dit wil aand word; bly julle maar die nag oor: kyk, dit is al laat, bly die nag hier oor, en laat jou hart vrolik wees; dan kan julle m?re vroeg klaarmaak vir julle reis en na jou tente toe gaan.

Bleibt doch hier ?ber Nacht; siehe, der Tag neigt sich; bleibt hier ?ber Nacht, und laß dein Herz guter Dinge sein! Dann macht euch morgen fr?h auf den Weg, daß du zu deiner H?tte kommst.
